US President Donald Trump has warned that because of the “killings of Christians,” the US will cut off aid to Nigeria and may launch a military strike.
Trump posted a message on his Truth Social account.
The President said that if the Nigerian government “continues to allow the killing of Christians,” the US will immediately stop all aid and support provided to Nigeria, and also warned that military action could be launched against the country.
Donald Trump called on the Nigerian government to act quickly: “I am directing our Department of War to be prepared for possible action. If we strike, it will be fast, brutal and sweet, just like the attacks of terrorist bandits on our dear Christians.”
In a Truth Social post on October 31, Trump declared Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” due to the “mass murder of Christians.”
