The United States ordered a “significant number” of B-2 bombers, used in the June 22 airstrikes against Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. This was stated by US President Donald Trump.
Trump commented on the use of B-2s in the June 22 attack, noting that these aircraft are “completely invisible.” He reiterated the view that the strike had “completely destroyed” Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
The American leader added that the United States had placed an order for a large number of B-2 bombers in addition to those already in service.
On June 22, the United States struck Iran’s nuclear facilities with missiles fired from stealthy B-2 bombers. The shells, about six meters long, are capable of causing destruction at significant depths underground.
