Trump: We Are Very Close To Reaching An Agreement Between Russia And Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump weighed in on resolving the crisis between Russia and Ukraine: “I think we’re very close to reaching an agreement. We’ll see what happens next.”

U.S. President Trump made a statement on current events at an event in the White House garden for Thanksgiving.

Trump said they want to end the war between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible, and that just last month, about 25 thousand Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, and expressed hope for a peace agreement.

The President further said: “I think we are very close to reaching an agreement. We will see what happens next.”

Trump noted that he believed that the crisis between Russia and Ukraine could be resolved more simply, but after he became president and began to deal with this issue, he realized that this war is more complicated than he thought. “However, I believe that in less than a year we have made progress,” he said.
