Tula Region Of Russian Federation Reported Death Of 3 People As Result Of Lightning Strike

In the Tula region of the Russian Federation, a pre -investigation verification of the circumstances of the death of people during relaxation on the beach near one of the reservoirs began. On Monday, July 14 was reported in the telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia in the Tula region.

“The investigator of the Aleksinsky inter-district investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia in the Tula region organized a procedural audit on the fact of the death of people on the beach near one of the water bodies in the Aleksinsky district as a result of a lightning strike,” follows the publication.

The scene is currently being inspected, all the circumstances of the incident are established, noted in the department.

In the meantime, the Russian state media reports on the death of three people, including a child, as a result of a lightning strike on the beach in the village of Bunrevo, Tula region.

The incident occurred in the region of 13:00 Moscow time. Three people were injured, two were taken to the Aleksinsky district hospital with an electric trauma.

The Ministry of Emergencies in the Tula region at about 13:30 issued a warning that a thunderstorm is expected in the region in the next hours, in some areas the shower, hail, and squalling wind strengthening of 12-17 meters per second. The department was called to be careful and attentive in conditions of difficult weather conditions.
