The Turkish petrochemical giant Tüpraş again took first place in the ranking of the 500 largest industrial enterprises in the country. Such data are presented in the study “TOP-500 industrial enterprises in Turkey for 2024”, prepared by the Istanbul Industrial Chamber (İSO).
The Chairman of the Board of İSO Erdal Bakhchivan announced the results of the rating reflecting the economic results of the Turkish industry at the end of 2024.
According to the study, Tüpraş retained leadership, reaching sales of 651.6 billion Turkish lire. The second place was taken by Ford Otomotiv with an indicator of 356 billion lires, and on the third – Star Rafineri Aş, with sales volume of 201.7 billion lire.
Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye Aş, which previously occupied 5th place, rose to the 4th with the result of 169 billion lire. Further follow: ̇STANBUL altın rafinerisi aş – 166.6 billion lire, Oyak -Renault Otomobil Fabrikaları Aivers – 159.4 billion lyre and Arçelik – 133.3 billion lyre
İSkenderun Demir Ve çelik Aş, previously in 12th position, rose to 8th place with sales volume of 110 billion lires.
EREğLI metallurgical plant took 9th place with an indicator of 103.7 billion lire, and the Hyundai Motor Türkiye Otomotiv Aş-10th place with a result of 103 billion lyre. It is noted that Ereğli has improved its position on one line, and the Hyundai Motor Türkiye – three positions up compared to last year.
