The head of Türsab recalled that last year, 1.4 million people arrived in Turkey in order to receive medical services.
“directly in January -March of 2023, 474,114 people used the services of medical tourism objects of Turkey, 37.5 percent more than the same period last year. A positive trend will remain,” Baglyka said.
According to him, Turkey’s income from medical tourism will also grow.
“In the first quarter of this year, Turkey’s income from the medical tourism sphere increased by 10.7 percent compared to January -March last year and reached $ 453 million,” he stated.
