In Marmaris, the fourth stage of the 60th Presidential Bicycle of Turkey (TUR 2025), which is considered the most difficult and important in the race – the so -called “royal stage”. Participants have to overcome 115.4 kilometers between Marmaris and Kyran district in Akjak, including a set of heights of 3154 meters.
The race takes place under the auspices of the International Union of Cyclists (UCI) and is part of the European tour calendar. Türkiye is represented in it the only PROSERIES level.

In the fourth stage, 159 athletes from 23 teams participate. The start was given on a specially prepared site on the boulevard of Kemal Sepetin Elgin. Bicycle workers will pass the picturesque areas of Gokche, Akchanar, Kyzylach and Ulu, finishing with an rise in the area of Kyran in Akjaka.
At the start of the stage, the leading T -shirts were distributed as follows: turquoise – Tibor del Grosso (Alpecin -Deceunink, the Netherlands); Red – Vincent Dorn (Bike Aid, Germany); Green – Giovanni Lonardi (Polti Visitmalta, Italy); Belaya – Willem Jacobus Smith (China Glory, South Africa).
The presidential cycling will end on May 4 in Izmir.

Before the start of the stage, the NOVO Nordisk teams talked with children from the Association of Diabetics of the 1st type of the city of Mugla. Professional athletes playing for a team, fully consisting of people with diabetes, held an inspirational meeting with three young participants suffering from the same disease. Children took pictures with riders and received motivation on their own way to combat the disease.
