Turkey again declares: Crimea is Ukraine

Turkey supports the integrity of the borders of Ukraine, never recognized and does not recognize the annexation of the Crimea. According to Anadolu, this was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlyut Chavushoglu in front of the Summit of the Crimean Platform.

Foreign Minister stressed that Turkey takes part in the summit, which will demonstrate the support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the significance that it gives the rights of the Crimean Tatars.

“We constantly repeat that they never recognized and do not intend to recognize the annexation of the Crimea. But it is not enough to talk about it. We express our support along with other friendly and allied countries that support the territorial integrity and irrevocability of the borders of the Crimea and Ukraine,” stressed Chavushoglu.

Turkish minister expressed the hope that the Crimean Platform will play an important role in protecting the rights of the Crimean Tatars and maintaining the integrity of the borders of Ukraine.

Chavushoglu also touched upon bilateral relations between Turkey and Ukraine. “We make great efforts for the development of our relations in various fields. In October, I will come to Ukraine again to participate in a meeting of joint strategic planning together with my friend Dmitry Kulelebi [Foreign Minister of Ukraine],” added Minister.
