Turkey at European Championship in Armenia will be represented by 10 weightlifters

In Yerevan on Saturday, April 15, the European heavy athletics championship starts.

As reported in the Turkish federation for heavy athletics, the event will last until April 22.

Turkey at the championship will be represented by 19 weightlifters, of which ten are women.

Giance Bektash and Gamza Altun will compete in the weight category up to 45 kg, Duigu Alydzhi, Pelins Bayav- In the weight category up to 49 kg, Nurai Günger and Aisel Ozkan – in the weight category up to 64 kg, Dilara Narin and Sarah Yenygun – in weight category up to 81 kg, and Melik Gunal and Tuan Synn – in the weight category of more than 87 kg.

The men’s team presents Muammer Shahin (weight category up to 55 kg), Mustafa Elish (weight category up to 61 kg), Kaan Kakhriman and Ferdy Hardal (weight category up to 67 kg), Muhammad Furkan Ozbek and Yusuf Fehmi Genech (weight category up to 73 kg), Batuhan Yuksel (weight category up to 81 kg), hakan shuukru Kurnaz (weight category up to 96 kg) and Onur Demirji (weight category up to 109 kg).
