Turkey can purchase Russian fighters 24 September

Turkey allows the possibility of purchasing Russian Su-35 fighters when failing of a transaction on American F-16, said the head of the Office of Turkey Ismail Demir, Russian media reports.

“One of the options may be Su-35,” Demir said to the question of the alternatives of Turkey in the absence of a transaction on F-16.

The United States has previously sent an official notification of Turkey about its exclusion from the F-35 Fright Supply Program due to the purchase of Russian Air Defense Systems S-400.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan subsequently announced the US offer of other fighters, but not the fifth, but the fourth generation – F -16.
