Turkish law enforcement officers detained 26 people suspected of tuning with the Feto terrorist organization, Anadolu reported with reference to official sources.
, in the framework of the investigation conducted by the General Prosecutor’s Office, 26 out of 35 suspected soldiers and cadets of military schools on which orders were issued were detained. Among them is a non -commissioned officer, one major, captain and senior lieutenant. The operation was carried out simultaneously in 18 provinces.
It is noted that the suspects communicated with members of the organization in the Turkish Armed Forces through payment lines or prepaid phones installed in kiosks. They conducted short and encrypted conversations, and also made statements about their rights as members of the organization.
