The opening of the festival on the topic “Love, tolerance, Peace” organized by the regional department of public education with the support of the head of the Akchakoja district, municipality, the Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Science and Arts.
After the opening ceremony, art lovers visited the exhibition of works by artists from Turkey, India, Pakistan, Iran, Slovakia, Spain, Canada, Azerbaijan, Romania and Russia.
Artists also performed folk dances of their countries, then created original watercolor work on a specially prepared 70-meter canvas on the site installed in the Center Garden.
Director of the district education department of Kemal Karadag, in an interview with the correspondent of the Anadolu agency, said that the district is one of the paradise of Turkey with its sea and natural beauties: “We want our district to be recognized in every sense and be known for its cultural and artistic works. In this sense, we are very pleased to adopt an international event.”
Drawing teacher and the Coordinator of the festival Yashar Birinji noted that 41 artist from 10 different countries take part in the festival: “We are proud that we were able to organize such an exhibition in Akchakoge. Our main goal is to offer people interested in art at the international level. The motto of our festival is love, tolerance and peace.”
Mumita Gosh and Ity Bahattacharia, artists from India, admitted that they were happy to be in this area. They emphasized that all the conditions were created participants in the festival.
The festival will end with events that will be held on May 22.
