During the joint operation of the National Intelligence Organization and the Main Security Directorate of Turkey in Istanbul, Gulten Matur, who was wanted on charges of “belonging to an armed terrorist organization”, was detained in Istanbul. She was a member of the revolutionary folk liberation party-front (DHKP-C), reports TRT Haber.
According to law enforcement officers, she planned to escape abroad. She was detained in one of the areas of Istanbul, the security forces of MIT and the main security department.
