The volume of Turkish exports in July this year increased by 11% compared to the same month of 2024, to 24 billion 938 million dollars, and the volume of imports by 5.4%, to 31 billion 383 million dollars. This is evidenced by preliminary data on foreign trade prepared by the Turkish Institute of Statistics (Tüi̇k) and the Ministry of Trade.
According to data, the deficit of foreign trade in July decreased by 11.8% compared to the same month of 2024, to 6.444 billion dollars.
the coefficient of export coverage by imports in July of the current one years amounted to 79.5% versus 75.5% in the same period of 2024.
Meanwhile, the volume of Turkish exports in January -July of this year increased by 5.1% compared to the same period of 2024, to $ 156.317 billion, and the volume of imports by 6.9%, to 212.22 billion. In the period under consideration, it increased by 12.2%, to $ 55.9 billion.
the coefficient of coverage export of imports in January-July 2025 decreased to 73.7%, while in the same period of 2024 this figure was 74.9%.
