rh null is found only in one person out of six million. In the seventh month of pregnancy, Soyil revealed blood incompatibility, and ordinary donors did not fit. After clarifying the diagnosis in Turkey and the United States, it was confirmed that the woman had an extremely rare blood type.
two frozen units of blood and one from a living donor were delivered in a cold circuit. Since after defrosting the components retain the properties of only 72 hours, the operation became a race over time.
“We conducted a similar process for the first time in Turkey. This operation shows how important donation and international cooperation are important,” said the representative of the red crescent of the Red Maintenance.
