Turkey does not expect any compromises on the issue of Sweden and Finland to NATO, said the head of the public relations department of the Turkish President Fakhrettin Altun in an interview with the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
“The strength, influence and potential of Turkey is obvious. Our significance is also obvious to NATO. We do not expect compromises. We put forward fundamental conditions for membership [Sweden and Finland to NATO],” he emphasized.
