During the operation of the Turkish Prosecutor General in 4 provinces, Istanbul was detained by 9 members of the FETO organization, the Türkiye newspaper reports.
The suspects were a student of the Military Academy, private imam, retired non-commissioned officers, an acting non-commissioned officer and a specialist of the Institute of Forensic Medicine. All of them are detained as part of the investigation of the Bureau of Investigation of the Terrorist Crimes of the Main Prosecutor’s Office of Istanbul. Law enforcement officers confirmed their connection with the organization of Fethullah Gulen.
