Turkey: minimum inflation rate of last 18 months has been recorded

Consumer price index (Tüffe) in Turkey in June 2023 increased by 3.92 percent, and the domestic product price index (Yi̇ -EFE) – by 6.5 percent in monthly terms. This was reported on Wednesday, July 5, the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (Tüik).

An annual consumer price inflation was 38.21 percent, 40.42 percent prices for domestic products. This is the lowest consumer price for the last 18 months and the domestic product index for the last 25 months.

, taking into account the average indicators for 12 months, as of June, consumer prices in Turkey rose by 59.95 percent, and prices for domestic products by 86.59 percent.

Consumer price index in July increased by 19.77 percent compared to December last year, while the price of prices for domestic products by 14.82 percent.
