Turkey prohibits export of butter: exception – Azerbaijan

Turkish Ministry of Agriculture has introduced restrictions on the export of butter into all countries, with the exception of Azerbaijan. This decision is made to prevent product deficit in the country, as well as to preserve the balance of supply and demand.

haqqin.az with reference to Turkish media reports that the butter will not be exported to other countries except the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Azerbaijan, including Nakhchivan.

The export of butter in Turkey decreased due to the coronavirus pandemic, but in the first three months of this year the product exports increased to $ 34 million.
