Turkish company Motor Ve Traktör Sanayi Aş (Tümosan) is preparing for the supply of the PUSAT-military armor with the highest level of nationalization, developed using its own subsystems – in Arms of Turkey, reports Anadolu.
The development of PUSAT in the company is trying to demonstrate the possibility of production in Turkey military cars on domestic engines and transmissions.
The representative of the company noted that Pusat resist the field tests at a distance of 5 thousand km, and in the near future it is planned to increase to 20 thousand km. The armored person successfully passed testing for resistance against mines and ballistic missiles, has a high level of protection in accordance with NATO standards.
PUSAT armored personnel is equipped with Xena Engineering Tümosan. “These are four-cylinder engines with a capacity of 310 horsepower and a volume of 5.2 liters. At the same time, Pusat has two separate subsystems,” he said.
also noted that there are two versions of the armored vehicle on a diesel and hybrid engine. PUSAT Capacity is 8 + 1 person.
