Turkey Successfully Test Domestic Underwater Drone STM NETA

In Turkey, successful sea tests of the domestic unmanned autonomous submarine underwater apparatus STM NETA 300. This is stated in the press release of the developer of the device -the Turkish defense company STM.

STM NETA was developed as part of the project “Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Apparatus (iOSA)”. For the first time, the drone was presented at the Saha Expo exhibition on October 22, 2024.

STM Neta 300 will be involved in the missions of the Turkish Navy for the anti -minute struggle.

The General Director of the STM Ozgur Gyuleryuz noted that the company is leading in Turkey in the field of naval platforms and autonomous systems. “Recently, we started the marine tests of the STM NETA 300. We managed to bring it to the open sea, combining our capabilities in the field of naval equipment, autonomous platforms and control systems and control. Following testing in the pool, we instructed sensors, chambers and autonomous navigation systems of the platform at the stage of marine tests. STM NETA 300 is capable of functioning at a depth of 300 meters. The drone is equipped with a side view hydrotor and a waterproof waterproof. The device provides a high degree of detection and neutralization of mines.
