Turkic countries are planning joint football tournaments

The heads of football associations of Turkic -speaking countries discussed at a meeting in Tashkent on October 5 the possibility of organizing joint international competitions at national and club levels.

This is stated in the press service of the Kyrgyz football union.

The meeting was attended by the heads of football organizations of Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Asian Confederation of Football (AFC) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

In addition, the issues of development and popularization of football were discussed.

Paid attention to the training of football specialists, coaches, arbitrators and exchange of experience, establishing comprehensive cooperation between football associations.

The meeting was held with the support and participation of FIFA.
