The unity of the Turkic world will contribute to the ensuring peace and prosperity around the world. This is stated in the appeal of the Head of the Directorate of the Administration of the President of Turkey on the occasion of the holiday of Novruz.
A message called “Novruz – Symbol of our Brotherhood” was published in the Kazakhstan State newspaper “Egemen Kazakhstan”.
Altun emphasized the importance of Novruz for the Turkic peoples. He noted that this holiday marks the “arrival of spring and updating of hopes.”
“This special day strengthens the sense of solidarity, unity and friendship among the Turkic peoples,” he stressed.
He also called the “worthy of admiration” to the ancient culture of the Turkic world of Kazakhstan, “a country that celebrates Novruz in the most special way.”
Fahretin Altun recalled that the UN General Assembly recognized on March 21 as the International Day of Novruz. In addition, one of the oldest holidays in the world is included in the UNESCO heritage list. “Thus, the general cultural value of the Turkic world will contribute to the social and cultural rapprochement of the whole world. Novruz is also the personification of the Turks to protect and preserve their traditions and culture,” he said.
The head of the department noted that this year Novruz fell during the Holy Muslims of the month of Ramazan. Taking advantage of the case, he expressed the wishes of peace and prosperity to the whole Islamic world.
In his appeal, Fahretin Altun also touched on the importance of cooperation in the fight against misinformation. According to him, Turkey attaches great importance to the support of Bratsk Kazakhstan in this struggle.
