Turkish agency contributes to development of sports in Afghanistan

Turkish coordination and cooperation agencies (Tika) provided the Badminton of Afghanistan with the necessary equipment and sports equipment on the eve of the upcoming tournaments.

Badminton is considered one of the most popular sports among Afghan youth after football and cricket.

Tika office in Kabul handed over to representatives of the Badminton of Afghanistan the necessary sports equipment for 170 badmintonists.

The transfer ceremony was attended by the Turkish Embassy Advisor to Kabul Emre Manav, the acting of military attache, Levent Polat, the head of the representative office of the Institute of UNUS Emre Hussein Günger, the head of the Badminton of Afghanistan Irchadulhak Sadika, the press secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Afghanistan, the atal of the Mushvan, and the deputy administration of culture Hazratullah Sharifi, athletes and fans.

Advisor to the Turkish diplomatic mission, Emre Manava noted that Turkey was and will be next to the Afghan people.

Among the transferred equipment: rugs, a badminton grid, form for players and judges, rackets for badminton and Valan.
