The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reports that during an air operation against terrorist groups in the areas of Metin, Hakurk, Gara, Kandil and Axos, 22 objects were destroyed in northern Iraq and many terrorists were neutralized.
A statement on the air operation in the north of Iraq appeared on the page of the Ministry of National Defense on Social Networks.
The statement states that today at 19.00 in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, an air operation was carried out against terrorist organizations in the areas of Metin, Hakurk, Gara, Kandil and Axos in the north of Iraq.
According to this information, the purpose of the operation is to neutralize the terrorist groups of the RSC/KSK and other terrorist elements that threaten civilians and borders.
In particular, the ministry’s statement notes:
“As a result of air strikes, 22 objects consisting of caves, shelters, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by a separatist terrorist organization, in which high -ranking members of these organizations were allegedly used. During the operations, a large number of terrorists were neutralized, while the maximum possible Domestic and national ammunition were used. The fight against terrorism will continue until a single terrorist remains in this geography. “
