The Ministry of National Defense announced an air operation against the terrorists of the RSC in the areas of Metin, Hakurk, Kandil and Gara in the north of Iraq. As a result of the air operation, 20 goals of a terrorist organization were destroyed.
The statement published on the ministry page on social networks emphasizes that the terrorists will not be able to get away from retaliation: “The fight against terrorism will not end until not a single terrorist remains.”
The application provides the following information about the air operation conducted in the north of Iraq:
“In order to eliminate the terrorist threats, as well as to ensure the security of the borders of Turkey, on October 1, 2023 at 21.00 in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, air strikes were applied to terrorist facilities in the areas of Metin, Hakurk , Kandil and Gara in the north of Iraq.
As a result of air strikes, a total of 20 objects consisting of caves, shelters, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by a separatist terrorist organization, in which high -ranking members of a terrorist organization, were expected, “
