The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reports on the application of an air strike on the bases of the terrorist organization of the RSC in Iraq.
“In order to eliminate terrorist threats, as well as to ensure the security of the borders of Turkey, on October 3, 2023 at 20.00 in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, air strikes were applied to terrorist facilities in the areas of Metin, Hakurk , Kandil, Axos and Gara in the north of Iraq.
A total of 16 military facilities consisting of caves, shelters, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by a separatist terrorist organization were destroyed. As a result of spotlights, a large number of terrorists were neutralized exclusively for military purposes, ”the Turkish Ministry of Defense reports.
Turkish Armed Forces emphasize that during this operation all precautions were taken so as not to damage the civilian population, friendly forces, historical and cultural values and the environment.
