Turkish Astronaut: We Are Building Space Ecosystem That Will Bring Turkey To Global Level

Turkish astronaut Tuva Jihangir Atasevers emphasized the importance of creating a stable space ecosystem. “We are working on the development of the space ecosystem, which will allow Turkey to reach the world level and surpass international standards in the space industry,” he said to Anadolu.

Ataseever spoke about public events actively organized in recent years and aimed at increasing awareness of the experiments conducted in space and how these studies can develop in the future.

During this period, more than 110 programs were implemented in different cities of Turkey, covering the audience from schoolchildren to students, he said.

According to Atasevar, the public informed about the importance of space research, and youth meetings were held. “The results of the experiments will be published in the near future,” he said.

Atasever also said that the experiments conducted within the framework of both missions were successful. “The results of 13 experiments performed by the Alper Geezeravji at the International Space Station, as well as 7 experiments conducted in my mission, are currently analyzed by teachers and researchers. I expect that these results will be published in the near future. It is important that during the implementation of 20 experiments in space we have accumulated valuable technical and operating knowledge that can be used in more ambitious projects for the study of the study of the study microgravity in the future, ”he emphasized.

Ataseever believes that the creation of a stable research program in the field of microgravity will allow us to benefit from investments in this sphere. “We must create a stable space ecosystem,” he said.

Ataseever emphasized the importance of interaction between academic circles and the private sector to increase the awareness of space.

He noted that the development of a strong space ecosystem is possible only on the basis of such principles.

Astronaut added that through seminars and lectures youth inspire further research in the field of microgravity. “We must create a stable space ecosystem, which will make it possible for young people who seek to become astronauts or scientists, to continue their research and after graduation. That is why we are actively working on the creation of conditions in Turkey, which will allow young people to develop their ambitions both in microgravity studies and in the framework of manned space programs. We create a cosmic ecosystem, which will become the basis for Turkey, so that she can reach the world arena and reach new heights in the space sphere, ”he added.
