Turkish company implements largest project in Slovenia

The correspondent of the Anadolu agency talked with the chairman of the board of directors of Yapı Merkezi ̇nşaat Ve Sanayi Aş Bashar Aryoglu.

According to him, as part of the project, work will be carried out highly difficulty in laying tunnels.

Aryoglu said that the company’s specialists began drilling tunnels in limestone karst rocks characteristic of the Alpine mountains.

He noted that 13 organizations mainly from European countries took part in the tenders for the implementation of a project consisting of three stages.

“Yapı Merkezi company is involved in all three tenders in various proportions. The first and second phases of the project include infrastructure, and the third – work on the superstructure. In 2021, we managed to get a contract with a total value of more than 600 million euros. For us a large The honor to participate as a Turkish company in the largest and most significant project of the country, which will make a great contribution to the economic development of Slovenia, ”he said.

The agency’s interlocutor emphasized that the work is underway in a Turkish company in such a way as to exclude damage to the environment, including the world -famous forests of Slovenia.

Bashar Aryoglu said that, thanks to the implementation of the project, the capacity of the Cooper Port, which positions Slovenia as the logistics gates of Europe.

As part of the project, 11 tunnels with a total length of 37.9 kilometers were built using the new tunnels designed by Austrian engineers, as well as two viaducts (a bridge -type transport structure) with a length of 452 and 647 meters.

According to him, 70 percent of the work has been completed today. The head of the company said that it is planned to put the highway into operation in 2026.
