Turkish Company Will Build Wind Station In Afghanistan

The Turkish construction company 77 ̇nşaat continues to invest in the energy sector of Afghanistan.

The company will invest $ 65 million in the first phase of a wind station with a capacity of 43.2 megavatts in the city of Herat.

In the ceremony of bookmarks of the foundation of a wind station with a total capacity of 200 Megavatts, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Provisional Government of Afghanistan Mullah Abdulgani Biradeer, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Consul of Turkey in Herat, Sinan Ilkhan, chairman of the Board of Directors 77 ̇nşaat Suleiman Gilive and other guests.

The Turkish Emra, Trading Advisor to the Turkish Emra, noted that Turkish firms have already invested about $ 7 billion in Afghanistan and implemented many infrastructure and construction projects.

“Project 77 ̇nşaat is an important step not only for the present, but also for the future of Afghanistan,” UNAL emphasized, emphasizing the high level of confidence in the engineering decisions of Turkey in Afghanistan.

According to him, the project is the first in the country implemented using Turkish technologies of wind turbines.

Unal also noted that Afghanistan has significant investment potential thanks to rich natural resources, low business costs, customs benefits, as well as access to young and cheap labor.

Among the priority industries for investment, UNAL allocated energy, mining, construction, healthcare, agriculture and livestock.

The Ministry of Trade of Turkey continues to work to increase bilateral trade and attract investment in Afghanistan, added UNAL.
