The Turkish textile company Akıncılar signed an agreement on cooperation with the Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan.
The company’s press service reported that according to the protocol signed between the parties in Azerbaijan, a joint production enterprise and laboratory will be created.
Today, Akıncılar produces armor, ballistic helmets, forms, etc.
Production products that will be produced at a joint venture in Azerbaijan is planned to be supplied to third countries.
“within three years, production in the Bratsk Republic, will be transferred to entirely domestic materials. In Azerbaijan, a bulletproof defense product will be produced for the first time. In the innovation center, engineers of Akıncılar and the Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan will jointly develop production”, – said the head of the reign Ahmet Jan Uzuntep.
