Turkish defense industry companies will take part in the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (SIDEC) to be held in Slovenia.
According to a statement by SAHA Istanbul, the cluster will be presented at the exhibition, which starts on October 21 and will last until October 24, under the auspices of the Turkish Pavilion, established under the leadership of the Defense Industry Directorate of Turkish Presidential Administration, together with the companies ASELSAN, Roketsan, TUSAŞ and Sarsılmaz.
The exhibition, which is one of the important events in the field of defense and aviation in Europe, will be held with the participation of 165 companies from 19 countries.
In addition to presenting Turkey’s industrial capabilities, the cluster will focus on strengthening technology networks and strategic cooperation in Europe.
SAHA Istanbul will deepen cooperation with Slovenia’s leading defense cluster GOIS under a memorandum of understanding signed in 2023. During the exhibition, B2B negotiations will be held in the areas of co-production, technology exchange and supply chain integration. These contacts will strengthen SAHA Istanbul’s industrial diplomacy network in Europe and support the export-oriented growth strategy of Turkey’s defense industry.
