The products of the Turkish defense industry were positively assessed by military delegations from many countries at the Bamako Expo (BAMEX’25), held in Mali.
The Bamako Expo (BAMEX’25), organized this year for the first time in the capital of Mali, Bamako, by The Peak Defense with the participation of exclusively Turkish companies, ended with an event during which the companies’ products were tested by delegations from Mali and participating countries.
During the event, STM successfully fired at a given target using the KARGU FPV Kamikaze UAV. A BOYGA rotating-wing UAV carrying mortar ammunition also fired a mortar.
STM’s KARGU and TOGAN UAVs, as well as the Skydagger tactical drones, demonstrated their capabilities during the flights.
During the event The delegations personally tested firearms and equipment that increase their effectiveness from companies such as KaleKalıp, Akdaş, MKE, Sarsılmaz, ASELSAN, 3E, ZSR, Akıncılar, Hedef Defense.
The delegations expressed their satisfaction with the tested products.
Minister of Financial Security and Civil Defense of Mali, Major General Daoud Ali Mohammedin said Anadolu Agency correspondent that they had the opportunity to evaluate the most modern and new security solutions presented by Turkish defense industry companies participating in the BAMEX exhibition.
After the two-day exhibition, which took place in Bamako, they witnessed real shootings and explosions at a shooting range located more than 100 kilometers from Bamako.
“I can say that I am proud of what I saw, both in terms of weapons, as well as in terms of ammunition, drones and protective equipment. I can say with confidence that the Republic of Turkey has vast experience in the field of defense and security. These explosions that we have seen have given us confidence. We are a strategic partner of the Republic of Turkey and we recommend that other countries in the region, as well as African countries, do the same as Mali and turn to this country, which works with us on a win-win basis and, in particular, respects our sovereignty,” – noted the general.
