The opening was made on the hectep-3 well, located at the hectic deposit of 69 kilometers from the gas deposit of the Sakarya and 165 kilometers from the coast. and the international level strengthens its strategic influence in the Black Sea, the Eastern Mediterranean and East Africa.
In this context, Turkey considers the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of oil and gas intelligence with a number of countries, including Somalia, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Iraq and Libya. and the extraction of oil and natural gas on the shelf, acquiring two new deep -sea drilling vessels. Currently, there are already four drilling plants, two seismic vessels and one floating gas producing platform.
