Turkish “Edzajibashi” reached final of women’s club World Cup via volleyball

The Ezhzajibashi Turkish volleyball club reached the final of the women’s club World Cup for volleyball 2023, which takes place in Hangzhou (China) from December 13 to 17. In the semifinals, the team beat the Brazilian “Dentil Pria” with a score of 3-1.

The first two sets of the Turkish volleyball players won with a score of 25-16 and 25-12. The third set “Edzhazibashi” lost with a score of 27-25, and the fourth ended with a score of 25-21 in favor of Turkish volleyball players. The final score amounted to 3-1 and the Ezhzajibashi managed to reach the final.

Captain Thutyan Boshkovich brought his team 23 points. On the account of the central blocking Jovanovy Stevanovich- 14, Irina Voronkova- 13, Handa Baladyn- 11 points

In 2015 and 2016, Ezhzajibashi became the winner, and in 2019, the silver medalist of the tournament.

The rival of Ezhzajibashi in the final will be determined according to the results of the game, which will be held on Saturday, December 16, at 14.30 Moscow time between the club from Istanbul Vakimfbank and the Chinese Tianjin Bohai Bank.

If the final is “Wakishfbank”, then for the first time in the history of the tournament, which takes place for the 16th time, two Turkish teams will be varied for the name of the finalist.
