Turkish electric car Togg Among best -selling cars

In the first quarter of 2024 in Turkey, the volume of sales of “fully electric cars” increased by 275.9 percent, reaching 14,158 units. The proportion of electric cars in the total sales increased from 2.1 percent to 6.1 percent, and the share of hybrid cars increased from 11 percent to 14.2 percent.

This is evidenced by these associations of automobile distributors and mobility (ODMD).

According to information, the first electric car of the Turkish development of Togg retained leadership in its segment as of the first quarter of this year.

Togg, which realized 4,145 electric vehicles in January-March, overtook his closest competitor to 2,533 units.

For the period under consideration, the share of TOGG in the electric vehicle market was 29.7 percent. Thus, about every third sold electric car was the TOGG T10X model.

Togg T10x has become the best -selling model in the electric car market. Next follows the BMW 5 Series, Ssangyong Torres, MG4 – the fourth and Atto 3.
