Turkish fighters at European Championship won 17 medals

Turkish wrestlers completed the European Championship with 17 medals in Croatia.

The European Wrestling Championship ended in Zagreb. Turkish wrestlers won 6 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medals, setting a new record of the national team. The asset of the Turkish national team has 17 medals.

Tach Akgyul, Feisulla Akturk, Yasemin Adar Yigit, Kayaalp Ryza, Aema Burak Uzun and Burkhan Akbudak won the European Champions title, defeating all his rivals.

Taha Akgul won his 10th European title, Yasemin Adar Yigit became the 6-fold champion of the continent.

As for the triumph of the Kayalpa Ryz, he rose for the 12th time to the highest step of the pedestal, breaking the record of the legendary Alexander Karelin.
