Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan addressed the participants of the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, which was held in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
This was reported on the Foreign Ministry page on the social network of the Turkish platform NSosyal.
According to information from sources of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, on the sidelines of the meeting, Fidan held negotiations with the Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger.
Heads diplomatic departments discussed the situation around negotiations aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The topic of relations between the European Union and Turkey was also touched upon.
Fidan emphasized that EU membership remains a strategic goal for Turkey. The head of Turkish diplomacy stressed that Ankara expects the opening of new negotiating chapters in the context of Turkey’s European integration.
