Turkish Foreign Minister Announced New Appointments In Country’s Diplomatic Missions

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced new appointments in a number of embassies and permanent missions of the country abroad.

According to information, Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz has been appointed ambassador to Damascus; Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations (Latin America) Yaprak Balkan as Permanent Representative of Turkey to the EU; Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the EU Faruk Kaymakci as Ambassador to Luxembourg; Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations (Central and West Africa) Shebnem Jenk as Permanent Representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO); Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Popularization and Cultural Affairs Aida Unlu as Ambassador to Montenegro; Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Southeast Asia and the Pacific Bilgin Ozkan Ambassador to Papua New Guinea.
