Turkish Foreign Minister Congratulated Him On 42nd Anniversary Of Founding Of TRNC

A fair, permanent and sustainable settlement of the Cyprus issue based on the realities of the island is only possible by recognizing the inalienable rights of sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriots, equal owners of the island. This is stated in the message of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, posted on the social network of the Turkish platform NSosyal on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The Turkish minister congratulated on the 42nd anniversary of the proclamation of the TRNC, created by the Turkish Cypriots “at the cost of enormous sacrifices and struggle.”

“Fair, long-term and a sustainable solution to the Cyprus issue, based on the realities of the island, is only possible by recognizing the inalienable rights to sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriots, equal owners of the island. The solution lies in the coexistence of two states on the island. Turkey, as the homeland and guarantor, will always maintain unbreakable ties with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and continue to be close to the Turkish Cypriots,” he emphasized. Fidan.
