Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Luxembourg on October 19-20 to participate in a ministerial meeting on the topic “Regional Security and Connections” within the framework of the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fidan will take part in the session “Security, stability and sustainability in the Black Sea region”, where they will discuss the strategic importance of the Black Sea, current geopolitical processes and security dynamics in the region.
In addition to Fidan, the meeting will be attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, Member of the European Commission for Enlargement Martha Kos, foreign ministers of EU member states, as well as representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Fidan will also take part in the ministerial meeting on the topic “Regional Security and Connections”, which will be held on October 19-20 within the Council.
Previously, the Minister took part in sessions at the informal meetings of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich), held on August 29, 2024 in Brussels and May 8 in Warsaw.
