Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the shelling of the Turkish fishing vessel Mahmutcan-1 forces of the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
The representative of the Turkish Foreign Tangu Bilgich said that the fishing vessel, who left the port of Karatash of the southern province of Adan, fired at the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea with two Boats of the Syrian regime. As a result of the shelling, two fishermen were easily injured, and the ship received damage.
“We condemn the incident. The Turkish Foreign Ministry will continue to track the course of the investigation of the incident, according to which the prosecutor’s office of the Samandag (the province of Hatay] began the trial,” the diplomat said.
