Turkish Foreign Ministry expresses condolences in connection with terrorist attack in Pakistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of a terrorist attack on the mosque in the Mastung area of ​​the Belujistan Province in the west of Pakistan.

The Ministry made a written statement about the terrorist act in the mosque in Pakistan.

The statement says: “With a deep regret, it became known that on September 29, 2023, more than 50 people died and more than 100 were injured as a result of an attack on parishioners gathered by Mavlid Kandil in the Mastung area of ​​the Belujistan Province in the west of Pakistan.”

Emphasizing that Turkey share the sorrow of the Pakistani people, then the statement notes: “We condemn this treacherous attack on this sacred day. We express condolences to the families of the dead and wish the wounded sooner recovery.”

“In the face of this monstrous terrorist attack, directed against the world, stability and well -being of friendly and fraternal Pakistan, we would like to once again say that Turkey will decisively continue to support Pakistan’s struggle with terrorism.”
