Turkish Foreign Ministry: Zelensky and Putin meeting may pass with Erdogan

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan can become a mediator of the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, if the Russian and Ukrainian parties agree on such negotiations.” This was announced by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlyut Chavushoglu, reports “Kommersant.”

“We have a desire to spend a trilateral meeting. It depends on the position of two leaders. The meeting in Antalya was held in a trilateral format at the request of both parties,” said Chavushoglu in an interview with the Hurriyet newspaper.

He added that Turkey has repeatedly expressed a desire to become an intermediary in negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.
