On Tuesday, April 12, Azerbaijani Secretary of Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov met in Baku with a delegation led by the Head of Intelligence of the General Staff of Turkey Cabinet General Rafet Domaran.
Having greeted guests, Z. Hasanov noted that on behalf of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, reforms were continuing to bring the Azerbaijani army in line with the standards of the Armed Forces of Turkey.
In turn, R. Dalkyran emphasized the importance of such meetings in terms of expanding mutual cooperation.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish military cooperation and on other issues of mutual interest.
