By order of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, negotiations were held in Doha, during which it was possible to establish a constructive dialogue between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
According to sources in Turkish security structures, the negotiations took place with the participation of the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), Ibrahim Kalin.
In The ceasefire discussions were attended by senior officials from both countries, including intelligence chiefs and the defense ministers of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The key agenda for the meeting included extending the current ceasefire, as well as finding a solution to end recent armed incidents along the border.
The negotiations, which continued late into the night, were closely monitored by leaders, including President Erdogan, who received live updates on the progress of the discussions.

To ensure a sustainable and final ceasefire, additional meetings are planned in the coming days. Following the 14-hour negotiations, it was decided that the first meeting of the technical committee, which will work out the details of the agreements, will be held in Istanbul.
Within the framework of this meeting, the parties will focus on developing long-term measures for the final settlement of issues such as the fight against terrorism, managing migration flows and ensuring security in border.
On October 11, a trilateral meeting of the heads of the intelligence services of Turkey, Pakistan and Qatar was also held in Istanbul, during which contacts were simultaneously established with representatives of Afghanistan.
