The number of terrorists neutralized by the Armed Forces of Turkey since the beginning of the year, including operations in the north of Iraq and Syria, has reached 2201 people. This was announced at a briefing on Thursday, December 28 was announced by the Council of Public Relations of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey Rear Admiral of the Akturk convict.
According to Aktook, only in the last week 81 terrorist from this number is neutralized.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense reminded of treacherous attacks and attempts at penetration committed by members of the separatist terrorist organization on December 22-23 in the area of the Pençe-Kielit operation, and also expressed condolences to the families of the dead Turkish military.
Akturk noted that after treacherous terrorist attacks in the north of Iraq and Syria, 71 objects were destroyed, including caves, refuge, oil facilities and warehouses, where the leaders of the terrorist organization were also located.
The Turkish Armed Forces did not leave the spilled blood of the dead military and during military operations with the involvement of aviation and fire support vehicles neutralized 59 terrorists as a whole, Akturk noted.
“Thus, the number of terrorists neutralized over the year reached 2201, of which 81 – only in the last week,” he added.
