Turkish Ministry of Defense: soldier of Turkish army died in Pençe-Kilit operation zone, four were injured

In the area of ​​the Pençe-Kielit operation in the north of Iraq, a soldier of the Turkish army died, four more were injured. On Tuesday, on March 19, the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reported.

The department noted that the military prevented an attempt to penetrate the militants into the Pençe-Kielit operation zone. The wounded military are hospitalized.

According to preliminary data, six terrorists were neutralized during the shootout, the operations continue, the press service of the department said.

In the Ministry of Defense of Turkey, they expressed condolences to the family of the deceased soldier and wished the early recovery to the wounded.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time had carried out a bloody crime in Turkey, and until March 2020, 7,500 security forces of Turkey and 6,800 peace residents.

The United States and the European Union introduced PKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.

Despite Ankara’s attempts to find ways to settle the situation, the PKK terrorist organization has resumed armed attacks since July 2015.

In recent years, PKK seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.

In Syria, PKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”

In Iran, PKK acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
