In the area of the Pençe-Kielit operation in the north of Iraq, a soldier of the Turkish army died, four more were injured. On Tuesday, on March 19, the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reported.
The department noted that the military prevented an attempt to penetrate the militants into the Pençe-Kielit operation zone. The wounded military are hospitalized.
According to preliminary data, six terrorists were neutralized during the shootout, the operations continue, the press service of the department said.
In the Ministry of Defense of Turkey, they expressed condolences to the family of the deceased soldier and wished the early recovery to the wounded.

In Iran, PKK acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
