In an interview with Anadol, the pilot said that behind the first flight costs 4-5 years of hard work of domestic developers. A lot of effort has been spent, great coordination and preparation was carried out.

Many factors are taken into account, including weather conditions, all kinds of emergency situations are taken into account. It remains only to approach the aircraft and make a flight. According to the pilot, as part of such a flight, the aircraft first soar into the sky, and in this regard, how much scientific research was conducted on earth, it may not be very clear how the ship will behave in the air. “Our plane was stable during the first flight. Its stability also instilled great confidence in us. I felt very comfortable and safe in the cabin from taking off to landing. All the systems functioned perfectly,” Chelik noted.
The test pilot indicated that it was the aircraft flight management system that is one of the innovative features.
“Our plane takes a flight through a computer. We paid the greatest attention to this issue on simulators and other preparations. The stability of the aircraft was reflected on take -off and landing. We did not experience any difficulties,” Chelik said.
According to him, thousands of hours of test flights began with the first flight.
CHELIK noted that a flight control system, avionics, electronic systems and the characteristics of the aircraft are expected ahead. “These test flights will be performed on the existing prototype of the aircraft. The next prototype will be completed next year,” Chelik said.
Upon completion of test flights, the certification process will begin, after which the ship will be ready to meet with its customer, the Turkish Air Force and other air forces. And then the plane will go into service of the Turkish Armed Forces, ”the pilot added.
