Turkish President arrived in Italy to participate in G-7 leaders summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the city of Brindizi in Italy to participate in the G7 leaders summit.

At the Brindizi Airport, a private CAN private aircraft with the Turkish state head was met by the Turkish Foreign Ministry Hakan Fidan, Turkish ambassador to Rome Omer Gyuchyuk, Turkish ambassador to the Vatican Ufuk Ulutash and employees of Turkish diplomatic agents in Rome and Vatican.

, Together with the Turkish leader, his wife Emine Erdogan, chief adviser to the president on security and foreign policy Akif Chagatai Kylych and deputy chairman of the Directorate of the Presidential Administration Chagatai Ozdemir, arrived in Italy.

In Italy, the head of state will take part in a high-level session on Africa and Mediterranean/Artificial Intelligence and Energy, which will be organized on the fields of the G-7 leaders summit. The Turkish leader will also hold a series of bilateral meetings, attend cultural events and take part in an informal dinner.
